Not because they lacked ambition, talent, or the will to compete — but because the strategic support they needed was priced for enterprises and built for boardrooms, not for the founders and operators actually doing the work.
We saw early-stage companies handed generic frameworks that didn't fit their market, their team, or their moment. We saw sales teams trained on playbooks written for someone else's business. We saw growth stall not because the opportunity wasn't there, but because the right strategy wasn't.
